She was predeceased by: her parents, John Orthaus and Olivia Orthaus (Huegel); and her siblings, Louise Jones, Gerald Orthaus, Bill Orthaus and Richard "Dick" Orthaus.
She is survived by: her siblings, Joanne Gleason (Richard), Linda Noehl (Bill), Tom Orthaus (Marilyn) and John Orthaus (Eileen); her siblings-in-law, Wilma ORthaus, Theresa Orthaus, Phyllis Orthaus and Dave "Bob" Jones; and also Franciscan.
Memorials may be given to the Sisters of St. Francis, 3390 Windsor Ave, Dubuque, Iowa 52001.
