She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwin Galliart and Mary Galliart (Koenig); her husband William "Bill" D. Meissner; her son Mark; her siblings, Elwin, John, Carl, Virginia Herek and Grace Klinkner; and her siblings-in-law, Wendell and Dorothy Meissner.
She is survived by: her children, Laurie Birch (Jim) of Dubuque, Lynn LeBlanc (Greg) of Dubuque and Paul Meissner (Nancy) of Dubuque; her grandchildren, Chris Birch (Crystal), Lee Birch (Jodi), Sarah Coble (Jason), Jessica Freiburger and Clarice Rubel (Michael); her sister Ann Black (Jerry); her brother-in-law Herman Klinkner (Shirley); and also Monica. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to Bethany Home or Hospice of Dubuque.
