She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Scherrer and Bernice Scherrer (Kressig); her husband Glen W. Udelhofen; her uncle Charles Scherrer; and her siblings-in-law, Claire Udelhofen (Dorothy), Jerry Udelhofen, Lila Udelhofen, Eileen Schroeder (Red), Vera Vertanen (Arne) and Jenny Burns (Bob).
She is survived by: her children, Janet Rettenmaier (Craig "Rett") of Dubuque, Mona (Trader), Jayne Puls (Terry) of Peosta, Jeffrey Udelhofen (Denise) of Peosta and Jerry Udelhofen (Colleen) of Robins; her grandchildren, Jessie Puls, Erik Puls, Melissa Puls, Randi Jo Rettenmaier, Cody Udelhofen and Alli Udelhofen; her great grandchild Rett Rettenmaier; and her sister-in-law Joan Udelhofen. She is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
