He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy "Ike" Erickson and Dorothy Erickson (Schwartz); his nephew James "Jay" Hall; his parents-in-law, Wayne and Diz Gabriel; his sisters-in-law, Lori, Karla and Mary Gabriel; his stepgrandson Michael Brenke; and his pet Wally.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Erickson of Dubuque; his daughter Sarah Erickson of Minneapolis, MN; his sister Linda Hall (Jim) of Amarillo, TX; his nieces, Terrie Lovelady and Annette Trimble (Dave); his stepchildren, Tammy Hermsen (John) of Peosta, IA and Freddie Brenke (Kellie) of Epworth; and his parents-in-law, Ted Grabriel of Platteville, WI, Jim Gabriel of La Motte, Don Gabriel of Dubuque, Julie Gabriel of Dubuque and Debbie Gabriel of Dubuque. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
