He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Gabriel and Bea Gabriel (Frommelt). He is survived by: his wife Barb; his children, Michael (Claudia) and Heather Gabriel; his grandchildren, Ella Schulte and Mikey Gabriel; and his siblings, Sandy Vandermillen (Joe) and Pat Gabriel (Mary) of Dubuque.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Dennys Lux Club (3050 Asbury Rd, Dubuque, IA 52001).
A Michael Gabriel Memorial Fund has been established.
