It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine Virginia Menadue of Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on February 3, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Scheffert and Virginia Scheffert (Koch). She is survived by: her spouse Charlie Menadue; her children, Dr. Mark Menadue (Kimberly) of Elkhart, IA, Julie Ede (Tim) of Dubuque, Lori Brooks (Brad) of Cedar Falls, IA and Sherry McDonell (Dale) of Dubuque; her grandchildren, Hannah Johnson (Mat), Grant Menadue (Kaci), Jason Ede (Tonya), Dana Mess (Mike Sorensen), Sara Mess (Eric), Connor Brooks, Spencer Brooks, Jordan McDonell (Arlene) and Kara McDonell (Colin Roling); and her sister Barb Kiernan of Edgewater, FL.. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established or donations can be made to the Parkinson Foundation.
