She was predeceased by: her husband Bob of Anthony's Church; her parent Stella Beitzel (Jochum); her daughter Sherry; her son-in-law Carl Heisler (Bette); her siblings, Bob Beitzel (Roseanne), Kate Lakeman (Ike), Rita Theilen (Harry) and Pete Beitzel; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Jane Beitzel and Alan Jackson.
She is survived by: her children, Bob Schauer (Mary Kay), Elizabeth Heisler, Terri Hesselman (Mike), Sam Schauer, Scott Schauer (Jane) and Mike Schauer (Judy); her son-in-law Gil Hinz; her sisters, Jean Sigwarth (Louis) and Pat Jackson; her sister-in-law Elsie Beitzel; and her granddaughter Rachel Berning. She is also survived by Grandchildren and (65) Great Grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Power of Prayer Adoration Chapel at 1860 St. Ambrose St., Dubuque, Iowa.
