She was predeceased by: her parents, Ambrose Cyril and Katherine Margaret Carr Blake; her husband Joseph John Behnke; her siblings-in-law, Loren "Toby" Kirk and Clara Bergfeld (James "Bergie"); her nephews, William "Bill" Blake, Art Wille and Roger Bergfeld Sr.; her niece Sheryl Behnke; and also Roger Bergfeld III.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Behnke of Dubuque, Kenneth Behnke of Dubuque, Donna Augustin (Gary) of Cuba City, WI and Nancy Hohmann (Keith) of Peosta, IA; her grandchildren, Shelly Augustin (Andrew Brant), Brian Augustin, Julie Augustin, Isabelle Behnke (Luke Hermsen), Nicholas Behnke, Blake Hohmann (Becky Yu) and Chase Hohmann; her siblings, David Blake of Shawnee, KS, Barbara Blake of Dubuque, Patricia Kirk of Dubuque and Barb; and her goddaughter Theresa Blake.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for Hospice of Dubuque and Church of the Resurrection.
