She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Turner and Bercie Turner (McDaniel); her husband Walter Herold; her brothers, Marion, Orland, Myron and Vernon Turner; and her siblings-in-law, Fern, Dorothy, Gloria, Betty Turner, Millie Herold and Kurt Herold.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Pluym (Daniel) of Dubuque and Daniel Herold (Shari); and her grandsons, Andrew and Austin Herold of Mankato, MN. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hospice of Dubuque in Marilyn's name.
