She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank T. Boble and Anna I. Boble (Rohner); her husband Donald E. Wertz; her son Dr. David Wertz; and her sisters, Florence Miller (Ray), Leona Gardner (Linus), Lorraine Phillips (Charles), Dorothy Lord (James) and Helen Griffin.
She is survived by: her sons, Dr. Thomas Wertz (Patricia) of Dubuque and Dr. R. Michael Wertz (Diane) of Dubuque; her daughter-in-law Ann Wertz (George Sztajer) of Little Elm, TX; her daughters, Connie Peters (James) of Allen, TX and Jeannie Olsen (Kyle) of Scottsdale, AZ; and her grandchildren, Brian Wertz, Timothy Wertz, Jennifer Dillon, Dr. Joseph Wertz, Carrie Welbes, Michelle Zeal, Amy Neiss, Jeffrey Wertz, Stacy Peters, Scott Peters and Kevin Peters. She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for Assisi Village.
