It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marcella M. Travis of Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on September 7, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Engling and Bernadette Engling (Brimeyer); her husband James Travis; her children, James Travis, Linda McMurray and Debbie Simon; her grandson Shannon Plowman; her siblings, Gerald Engling (Jenny), Carl Engling (Virginia), Alfred Engling, Raymond Engling, Irene Ruff (Carl), Theresa Huekels (T. J.), Cindy Ohnesorge, Louise Kirby (Harold), David Engling and Joyce Miller (Karl); her sister-in-law Cathy Engling; and her pets, TuTu and Max.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Travis (Angela) of Dubuque, IA, Chris Travis of Dubuque, IA, Pamela Krieg (David) of Sherrill, IA, Victoria Sawvell (Michael) of Dubuque, IA and David Travis of Dubuque, IA; her sons-in-law, Stephen Simon of Dubuque, IA and Larry McMurray of Andrew, IA; her siblings, Leon Engling of Bettendorf, IA, Donald Engling (Alice) of Whitewater, WI and Helen Molzof (Archie) of Dubuque, IA; and her parents-in-law, Mary Engling of East Dubuque, IL, Mary Jo Engling of Freeport, IL and Shirley Engling of Freeport, IL.. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren.
