He is survived by: his daughter Tammy Hunt (Charlie) of Dubuque, IA; his grandchildren, Lyle Hunt (Amy) and Lianna Hunt of San Diego, CA; his great grandchild Ava Hunt; his sister Lois Ott-Tarnutzer of Peosta, IA; his nephews, Clint Tarnutzer of Dubuque, IA and Craig Tarnutzer (Sherry) of Denver, CO; and his siblings-in-law, John "Jack" McDermott of Dubuque, IA, Dan McDermott (Carol) of Dubuque, IA, Susan Murphy (Dwayne) of Dubuque, IA. and Shirley McDermott of Dubuque, IA..
