She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Link and Avalona Link (Stillmunkes); her husband LaVern Pape; her son Curtis Pape; her siblings, Armella Meyer (Emil), LaVern Link (Dorothy), Norman Link (Joanne) and Delbert Link (Lucille); her in-laws, Norbert Pape, Bernice Albrecht (Burt) and Betty Pape; her niece Kathy Decker; and her nephews, Robert Link and Paul Link.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Weitzel (Tim), Mike Pape (Theresa) and Kevin Pape (Dawn); her grandchildren, Bradley Weitzel (Meaghan), Erica Weitzel, Skylar Pape, Ariana Pape, Mason Pape and Maxwell Pape; her great grandchildren, Mia, William and Hannah Weitzel; her siblings-in-law, Eldon Pape and Maureen Pape; and her caregivers, Julie, Nicole and Jill. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Funeral Home and Crematory (2659 John F Kennedy Rd, Dubuque, IA 52002). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Resurrection Catholic Church (4300 Asbury Rd, Dubuque, IA 52002).
In lieu of flowers donations may be given to Hospice of Dubuque.
