She was predeceased by: her parents, G. Henry Hovden and Annette M. Hovden (Skadeland); her spouse Friedrick Christian Meyer; her son Douglas Kapp; and her siblings, Amy Rue (Loren) and Verne Hovden (Margurete).
She is survived by: her sons, Kevin Kapp (Betty) of Dubuque and Neal Kapp (Sally) of Anaheim, CA; her daughter-in-law Jean Kapp of Dubuque; her grandchildren, Jeremy Kapp (Alicia) of Dubuque and Melissa Culbertson (Brent) of East Dubuque, IL; and her great grandchildren, Samuel, Aaron Culbertson, Blair, MaryEllen, Kiefer and Kierin Kapp. She is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.
Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army; Samaritan's Purse; and St. Peter Lutheran Church.
