It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loretta Meyer of Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on December 15, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Meyer and Catherine Meyer (Sauber); and her siblings, Harold Meyer, Francis Meyer (Bud) and Mary Madonna Meyer.
She is survived by: her niece Julie Merfeld of Des Moines, IA; and her nephews, Stephen Meyer of Volo, IL, John Meyer of Eau Claire, WI and Stephen Spates of New York City, NY.
Even in death, Loretta donated her body to the University of Iowa for research purposes.
