He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Alfred and Sophie Pauline Volker Mueller; his sister Marlys; and his sister-in-law Dorothy. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor E. Oltmann; his children, Christine Kreider (Ben) of Palmyra, PA and Steven Mueller of Dubuque; his grandchildren, Kurtis, Emily, Cody (Kimber), Kara Maxwell (Austin), Jason, Luke and Paul; his great grandchild Liam; and his siblings, Duane Mueller of Dike, IA and LaVonne Nail (Jerry) of Blue Springs, MO. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established for Hospice of Dubuque.
