He is survived by: his former wife Debra O'Dell; his wife Cynthia Cole of Dubuque, IA; his daughters, Laurie Kirkpatrick (Jolyene Schaaf) of Fairbault, MN, Jenny Foulkner (Tim) of Darlington, WI, Dawn Golbrecht (Jon) of Shullsburg, WI, Becky Upmann (Andrew) of Shullsburg, WI, Lisa Kirkpatrick of Worthington, IA and Jill Kirkpatrick of Dubuque, IA; his siblings, Donna Vaske of Dubuque, IA, David Kirkpatrick (Carrie) of Dubuque, IA and Mark "Steve" Kirkpatrick of LaPorte, IN; his sister-in-law Kathie Kirkpatrick of Strawberry Point, IA.; and his caregiver Claudia.
