She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin George and Katherine George (Helbing); her son Bryon; and her siblings, William, Edwin, Merlin, Robert, Darryl, Carol and Dorothy.
She is survived by: her husband James Haxmeier; her daughters, Jodi Laud (Jack) of Moline, IL, Jill Vaughan (Kevin Meloy) of Dubuque and Vicki of Milwaukee, WI.; her grandchildren, Blake Lanum (Jessica) of Moline, Tyler Lanum of Moline, Graham Vaughan of Green Bay, WI, Emily Vaughan (Miric) of Atlanta, Georgia, Mason and Aidan of Milwaukee, WI.; her great grandchildren, Brody and Penelope of Moline, IL; and her siblings, Charlene Dunwoody, Milton of Dubuque and Eldon of Dubuque.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to Hospice of Dubuque in memory of LaVon.
