Lavern J. Bird Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lavern J. Bird of Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on April 4, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Bird and Germaine Bird; and his brothers, Vernon "Butch" Bird and Lawrence "Larry" Bird. He is survived by: his daughters, Amanda Fiez (Michael) of Madison, WI and Haley Bird of Madison, WI; his siblings, Karen Knepper (Bob), Leon Bird, Diane Bertsch (Jeff), Jo Ann Rust, Dale Bird (Kelly) and Janet Weidemann (John); and his sister-in-law Peggy Sue Bird. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a Lavern Bird Memorial fund has been established.
