He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Crooks and Eva Mae Crooks (Rudebeck); his wife Darlene Iris Kipp; his parents-in-law, Floyd and Elsie Kipp (Kimber); and his brothers, Alden Crooks and Gerald Crooks.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Crooks (Noreen Daniels) of Dubuque, Rhonda Robinson of Independence, IA and Rodney Crooks (Amanda) of Bernard, IA; his brothers, Dave Crooks (Marilee) of Evansdale, IA, Ronnie Crooks (Denise) of Charles City, IA and Kenny Crooks (Mary) of Charles City, IA; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Crooks of Osage, IA.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
