She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Medill and Murble Medill (Adams); and her husband Roland Otto Day. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Kendall (Terry) and Roland Day (Rhonda Thurow); her foster son Rickard Jensen (Cerise); her sisters, Sherri Viland (Allyson Ashley) of Nixa, MO, Charlene Recker of Glenwood, IA and Linda Zirnhelt (Jim) of Iowa City; and her niece Jacqueline McPherron (Conan).
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hoffmann Schneider & Kitchen Funeral Home & Crematory (3860 Asbury Rd, Dubuque, IA 52002). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for Hawkeye Care Center Activity Department.
