It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen A. Walbrun of Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on July 29, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Karen A. Walbrun to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis J. Stevens and Anna J. Andregg; her husband Joseph Walbrun; her parents-in-law, John and Eleanor Walbrun; her brother David Stevens; her brothers-in-law, Mike Becker and John Walbrun; and her nephew Joshua Stevens (Andregg).
She is survived by: her children, Randall J. Richter (Bari) and Michelle L. Mulgrew; her grandchildren, Stephanie L. Kalvig (Brian Hefel), Garrett Richter (Madison Thurm) and Paul Richter (Timber Thomas); her great grandchild Darrow Kalvig; her siblings, John Stevens (Carol), Bob Stevens, Gerri Becker, Jeff Stevens and Denis Stevens; her sister-in-law Betty Cromartie (Bob); her friend Carla Juergens (Ron Healey); and her close friends, Shelle, Kris Schroeder, Karen and Pam Stedwell. She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Karen's honor to the Veteran's Freedom Center or Whispering Hope Animal Rescue.
