She was predeceased by: her parents, John Block and Stella Block (Szmeter); her husband Gilbert F. Roling; her son Wayne Roling; and her siblings, Frank, Charles Block, Sabina Block, Frances Drozdowski, Jean Kleps and Ann Bohnsack.
She is survived by: her children, Ervin Roling of Dubuque, Mark Roling of Mechanicsville, IA, Michael Roling (Kathie) of Dubuque, David Roling (Constancia) of Dubuque, Janel Roling of Iowa City, IA and Mary Roling (Scott Ronning) of Duluth, MN; and her grandchildren, Rosemary, JoAnn, Ambrose, Maria, Tammie, Terry, Colin and Rachel. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
