We are sad to announce that on February 14, 2023, at the age of 86, Joseph R. Sutherland of Dubuque, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Joseph and Frances Maria Horch Sutherland; his sister Patricia Taylor; and his brother-in-law James Capesius. He is survived by: his wife Joan Barbara France; his siblings, John Sutherland (Jean) of Cottonwood, AZ, James Cletus Sutherland of Dubuque, Paul Sutherland of Cherokee Village, AR and Mary Capesius of LeClaire, IA; and his nieces, Julie Capesius Moore and Jill Bradberry (Howard). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews including his Goddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
