We are sad to announce that on August 28, 2023 we had to say goodbye to John L. Peil of Dubuque, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester John and Florence Marie Peil (Bresee); and his brothers, Raymond and William. He is survived by: his wife Janice Merz; his children, Trina Holz (Gary), Tyrone (Sarah), Tammy and Tim (Rebekah); his grandchildren, Meghan, Brandon (Stephanie), Caleb, Benjamin, Ella (Marco), Micaiah, Ezra, Shawn, Colin and Danny; his great grandchildren, Oakley and Draven; and his siblings, Diane Overturf (Gerald) and Robert (Nancy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and many many close friends.
In lieu of flowers, a John "Jack" L. Peil Memorial Fund has been established.
