He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Aslin and LaVerne Aslin (Morgan); his wife Ann "Cookie" Aslin; his son Daniel Paul "Dan" Aslin; his stepgrandson Josh Riddle; and his sister Colleen Aslin.
He is survived by: his sons, John A. "Mike" Aslin (Barb) and James J. "Jim" Aslin; his grandchildren, Dr. Audra Long (Micah), Alexa Banda (Jordan) and John V. "Vinny" Aslin; his stepgrandson Thomas Riddle (Nicole); and his great grandchildren, Jordan, Boss, Mario, Addison, Heidi, Charlie and Cadence.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM at the St. Columbkille's Catholic Church (1240 Rush St, Dubuque, IA 52003). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
