It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanne Kiefer of Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on October 5, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph J. Blasen and Helen A. Blasen (Ehrlich); and her siblings, Luane Anglin, Mary Lou Weeks, Joseph M. Blasen (Joan), William Blasen and Janet Helbing.
She is survived by: her former husband Bob Kiefer; her children, Dan Kiefer (Lilia), Scott Kiefer, Bobby Kiefer (Becky), Kris Kiefer (Warren) and Craig Kiefer (Laura); her grandchildren, Cole (Taylor), Caleb Kiefer, Lindsay McAllister, Emily Minoff (Rob) and Catie Hansen (Greg); her children, Kortney, Blake Kiefer, Tyler (Shara), Bo Kiefer, Madison Matthews (Chase), Britney Selph (Jeff), Jordan, Holly and Rachel Kiefer; her great grandchildren, Addilyn, Emma and Lyla Kiefer; her grandchildren, Olivia, Calvin Kiefer, Kaya Kiefer, Cooper Matthews, Jaxon, Huxley and Lexi Selph; her siblings, Richard F. Blasen (Kathleen) of Dubuque, Linda Kunkel (Bob) of Dubuque, Kathy Behnke (Irv) of Dubuque and Michael Blasen of Dubuque; and her in-laws, Carl Anglin, Barb Blasen of Dubuque, Doug Helbing of Mandan, ND, Ted Weeks of Vancouver and British Columbia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
