It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of JoAnn Wood of Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on December 20, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lavern Friedlein and Virginia Friedlein (Gabriel); and her siblings, Nicholas Lavern Friedlein and Judith L. Fondell. She is survived by: her daughter Kimberly Malek (Brian Strohmeyer) of Dubuque; her grandchildren, Alexandra (Alec Delaney) and Nicholas Malek of Dubuque; her great grandchildren, Brynlee and Bennett; and her nieces, Michele Belding and Kris Belding.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Hoffmann Schneider & Kitchen Funeral Home & Crematory (3860 Asbury Rd, Dubuque, IA 52002). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
