It is with great sadness that we announce the death of JoAnn Oftedahl (Dubuque, Iowa), born in Slayton, Minnesota, who passed away on July 2, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Edward Gieselman; and her parents-in-law, Johnny and Donna Oftedahl. She is survived by: her mother Sarah Gieselman; her husband Philip Oftedahl of Stephen's Lutheran Church; her children, Mark Oftedahl (Melissa), Ryan Oftedahl (Abby) and Mindy Wiley; her grandchildren, Alex, Cole, Kayla Oftedahl, Colton Wiley and Emma Oftedahl; her great grandchildren, Jaasella and Aaveiya; her sisters, Lorie Roux (Brian) and Janet Anderson; and her sister-in-law Rachel Mirghavamedin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
