He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ransom and Barbara Ransom (Waddell); his sister LeAnn Scott; his parents-in-law, Jim and Marilyn McInerney; and his brother-in-law John McInerney.
He is survived by: his wife Sue; his children, Amy Ehlers (Brian) and Brian Ransom (Megan); his grandchildren, Tyler, Natalie, Bryce, Blake and Charlie; his brother Jim Ransom (Janet); and his siblings-in-law, Denny McInerney (Cindy) and Sharon Koch (Jim). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 6th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory (2595 Rockdale Rd, Dubuque, IA 52003). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 7th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
