She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Ortberg and Luverne Ortberg (Plummer); and her brothers, Robert Ortberg (Carol) and Bruce Ortberg. She is survived by: her husband Eugene Fredrick of Asbury; her sons, William "Bud" (Lou) of Dayton, Thomas (Joyce) of Brewster, Charles (Kim) of Dubuque and Elmer "Jay" (Terry) of Ames, Iowa; her brother Scott Ortberg (Linda) of Texas; and her sister-in-law Janet Ortberg of Florida. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jeanette's memory may be directed to the American Heart Association.
