It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Janet Porter (Dubuque, Iowa), who passed away at the age of 84, on January 21, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Frick and Marjorie Frick (Nesler); and her in-laws, John "Jack" Porter (Gladys) and Jim Stutz. She is survived by: her husband William Harry Porter; her children, Steven Porter (Lynne) of Richardson, TX., Sue Taylor of Wausau, WI and Douglas Porter (Jackie) of Phoenix, AZ.; her grandchildren, Andrew Porter (Amber), Ryan Porter, Melissa Taylor, Zachary Porter, Lucas Porter, Talon Porter and Angelica Pinlac; her great grandchildren, Becca and Grayson Porter; her sister Jackie Stutz; and her in-law Paul Porter (Carole).

Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Westminster Presbyterian Church (2155 University Ave, Dubuque, IA 52001). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, a Janet Porter memorial fund has been established.
