She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank C. Wieland and Evelyn Wieland (Snooks); and her sister Nancy Hubanks. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Menadue of Dubuque; and her children, Craig "CJ" Pape (Nancy) of Dubuque, Brian Pape (Brenda) of Dubuque, Dan Pape (Mindee) of Dubuque, Suzanne Marie Pape of Dubuque, Tracey Winsett (Jeff) of Dubuque, Lisa Popp of Hartford, WI and Tammie Eggers (Darryl) of Kieler, WI. She is also survived by grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to Hospice of Dubuque.
