James Leo McNamara Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 12, 2023, at the age of 78, James Leo McNamara (Dubuque, Iowa), born in Independence, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" McNamara and Margaret McNamara (Kayser); his brother Jerry McNamara; and his brother-in-law Gary West. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo; his children, Matthew, Lisa, Luke (Sara) and Jessie; and his siblings, Jane Ann West and Robert McNamara (Patricia). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hospice of Dubuque and St. Anthony Catholic Church.
