He was predeceased by: his parents, James Kendall and Margaret Kendall (Smith); his wife Margaret Kendall; his sister Marie Oliver (Wayne); and his brother-in-law Bob Remakel.
He is survived by: his former wife Margaret "Marg" Deeny; his daughter Karla Viertel (Michael) of Dubuque, IA; his granddaughters, Mia Pins (Daniel Kunkel) and Lillian Viertel; his son-in-law Bill Pins of Dubuque, IA; and his sisters, Phyllis Jaeggi (Bill) of Dubuque, IA. and Joanne Remakel of Dubuque, IA..
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Holy Trinity Church (1701 Rhomberg Ave, Dubuque, IA 52001). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
