He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Guerdet and Mary Guerdet (Donahue); his brothers, Eugene and Richard; his nephew Kenneth; and his brother-in-law Joseph Donahue.
He is survived by: his sister Janelle Donahue; his sister-in-law Mary Carol Guerdet; and his nieces and nephews, Mary Ellen Donahue, Pat Donahue (Mary Lynn), Dennis Donahue, Paul Donahue (Becky), Kelly Donahue, Karen Guerdet-Schuster (Todd), Janice Arends, Robert Guerdet (Maurine), David Guerdet (Dennis) and John Guerdet (Kerry).
In lieu of flowers, a James Guerdet Memorial Fund has been established.
