He was predeceased by: his wife Betty M. Butler; his parents, Lester Butler and Constantine Butler; and his siblings, Tom Butler and Bonnie Villard.
He is survived by: his sons, Patrick (Sharon) of Dubuque, Michael (Anna) and Daniel of Costa Mesa, California.; and his siblings, Richard Butler, MaryLou Feiple and Connie Kruse. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
