She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Schlueter and Adele Schlueter (Ott); her spouse Francis Henry Brownell; and her son-in-law Boomer Gatena. She is survived by: her children, Carol Brownell, Jean Gatena, Mary Myers (Don), Dave Brownell (Pam), Ron Brownell (Lisa) and Jan Byrd (Richard); and her sister-in-law Thelma Schlueter. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Holy Spirit Parish- Sacred Heart (2215 windsor Ave, Dubuque, IA 52001). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
