It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Irene A. McDermott of Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on October 22, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Lyons and Kathryn Lyons (Burns); her husband Charles "Chuck" McDermott; and her siblings, Grace, Jean, Lorraine and Joseph.

She is survived by: her sons, Steven McDermott (Kathryn) and Mark McDermott (Beth Ann); her grandchildren, Alexandria and Keith McDermott; and her great grandchild Matthew Stangl-McDermott.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
