He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Milton Bowman and Berneice Bowman (Stone); his wife Eleanor; his former wife Verda; his children, Marcie Koziczkowski (Dave), Sue Roddick (Brian), Debbie Rury (Don), Teresa White (Robert), Tammy Goodman (Tony), Howard Bowman (Julie), Jason Bowman (Liz), Kevin Greiner (Tammy) and Marcus Bowman (Kari); and his sisters, Kathi Flies (Richard) and Sonia Simons (John). He was also cherished by twenty-four grandchildren; and twenty-seven great-grandchildren.

The family requests no flowers.
