He is survived by: his wife Joanne; his children, Kevin Ernst (Connie), Fran Ernst (Lisa), Mark Ernst (Julie), Tim Ernst (Tara Odefey) and Julie Bradley (Joe); his grandchildren, Daniel Ernst (Lis), David Ernst (Katrina), Andrew Ernst (Miranda), Tara Keppler (Robby), Ashley Olson (Shawn), Ryan Ernst (Casey), Jared Knautz, Bailey Ernst, Stephen Bradley, Alyssa Ernst, Larissa Bradley, Jacob Ernst and Cailyn Ernst; his great grandchildren, Ava, Mia, Emma, Olivia, Mickie, Allie, William, Eli, Mac and Miles Ernst; his in-laws, Mary Lou Griebel, Olivia Ernst, Frieda Ernst, Pat Ernst, Betty Koos (Gerald) and Mildred Haxmeier; and his caregiver Amy.
