She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Henkes and Edna Drahn Henkes; her husband Frank R. Bakey; her daughter Judie Smith; her grandchildren, Kimberly and Steven Schmieder; her great grandchild Chad; her daughter-in-law Patti Bakey; her siblings, Clarence Henkes, Viola, LaVera and Ethel; and her sons-in-law, Leo Boge and Jim Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Pat Boge of Asbury and Fred Bakey of Platteville, WI; her grandchildren, Lori Hellerud (Phil) of Asbury, Lynne Kirchhoff of Dubuque, Connie Clark (Tom) of Dubuque, Chris Bakey (Amy) of Dubuque and Suzie Bakey of Cannon Falls, MN; her great grandchildren, Leah, Joel, Alex, Natalie, Emilee, Brenton, JoAnna, Stephanie and Dylan; her great great grandchildren, Samuel, Abraham, Eli, William, Alex, Abby, Audrey, Paige, Drew, Addy, Amelya and Kalvin; and her brothers, Palmer Henkes of Cochrane, WI and Robert Henkes (Mary) of Dubuque.
