He is survived by: his wife Joan Wagner of Dubuque; his children, Lisa Pfeiffer of Germany, Nick Zimmerman (Kim) of Dubuque and Doug Zimmerman of Menomonee, WI; his grandchildren, Christopher, Johan, Konstantin, Emily Pfeiffer, Luke Zimmerman, Karlina and Alyssa Zimmerman; and his sisters-in-law, Diana Frick of Dubuque and Mary Wagner of Australia.
