He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Wiegert and Elda Wiegert (Felderman); his siblings, Laverne Wiegert (Mary), Raymond Wiegert and Alverda Beck (John); his sisters-in-law, Sandy Wiegert and Judy Wiegert; and his nephews, Roland Wiegert and David Beck.
He is survived by: his brothers, Eldon Wiegert of Loveland, CO and Albert Wiegert Jr. of Maquoketa; his sister-in-law Rita Wiegert; and his nieces and nephews, Duane Beck, Reynold Wiegert, Rhonda Hefel (Mark), Sheila Norris (Bill) and Amy Wiegert-Kenshol (Doug).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (97 E 1st St, St Donatus, IA 52071). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. John's Lutheran Church in St. Donatus.
