Genevieve Hartmann Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Genevieve Hartmann of Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on August 10, 2022 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Hein and Ida Hein (Zahina); her husband Leo L. Hartmann; her siblings, Clete, Norb, Ralph, Camilus, Joe, Gerome and Rose Knoerschield; and her granddaughter Sheryl Rusch.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Rusch (David) of Erie, CO, Richard Hartmann of Castle Rock, CO and Dr. John Hartmann of East Dubuque, IL; her sister Mary Hanlon of Cedar Rapids, IA; her grandchildren, Col. Timothy Rusch (Michelle), Dr. Laura Salazar (Greg), Sarah Andres (Isaac), Tamara Callstrom (Dan), Robert, Emma and Greta Hartmann; her great grandchildren, Rachel, Julia and Ryan Rusch; and her grandchildren, Tre, Natalie Nick, Ethan Salazar, Bradyn, Marcus Andres, Camden and Allison Callstrom.
In lieu of flowers, a Genevieve V. Hartmann memorial fund has been established.
