With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gary J Boffeli of Dubuque, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 9, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Merlin Boffeli and Mary Boffeli (McDermott); his daughter Mary Boffeli; his sister Ione Jaynes; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Jaynes, Tom McDonnell and Jane Boffeli.
He is survived by: his children, Joshua Boffeli of Dubuque, Kate Becker (Jeff) of Madison, WI. and Vanessa Boffeli of Dubuque; his grandchildren, Gus and Daphne Becker; and his siblings, Tom Boffeli (Bernice), David Boffeli (Lori), Marlene Guler (Earl), Willie McDonnell (Tom), Helen Heyer (Larry), Diane Kearney (Jim) and Moe Meyer (Mike). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
