We are sad to announce that on December 20, 2024, at the age of 95, Francis McCauley of Dubuque, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester McCauley and Bernice McCauley; his parents-in-law, William and Myrtle Smith; his sister Sally; his brother-in-law Bob Voels; his brother Mike; his sister-in-law JoAnn McCauley; his sisters, Marge (Ade Lane) and Ruth (Ralph Klumb); and his nieces and nephews, Roger Klumb, Greg Lane, Wendy Lane and Barb Pettitt (Voels).
He is survived by: his wife Fay Smith; his children, Connie Dykema (Greg) of Geneseo, IL, Kathy Ireland (Wade) of Fairfax, IA, Terry (Taunya Kepple) of Marion, IA and Lisa Arenholz (Dan) of Blue Grass, IA; his grandchildren, Nick Ireland (Angie), Matt Ireland (Maggie), Tony Ireland (Sara), Jared Ireland, Alyx Dykema, Sydney Serrano (Daniel), Lindsay Ireland (Jerod Staton), Brittany McCauley, Dylan and Jada Arenholz; his stepgranddaughter Toby Greenwood (Marcus); and his great grandchildren, Grace, Maddie, Addy, James, Frank, Oscar, Gloria Ireland, Ryleigh and Kamryn Serrano. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
