It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esther May Stierman of Dubuque, Iowa, born in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 14, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father John R.; her spouse Laverne L. Stierman; her siblings, Allan Check, Anita Steger (Louie), Rita Zimmerman (Don) and Doris Seymour (Jim); and her brothers-in-law, Al Timmerman and Edward Stierman.
She is survived by: her children, Don Stierman (Linda) of Toledo, OH, Tom Stierman (Sue) of Dubuque, John Stierman (Cathy) of Dubuque, Chuck Stierman (Pam) of Dubuque, Roger Stierman (Lori) of Dallas, TX, Steve Stierman (Sandy) of Grand Prairie, TX, Jeanette Manley (Don) of Omaha, NE and Lois Salmonson (Lee) of Naperville, IL; her sister Rose Timmerman of Dubuque, IA; and her siblings-in-law, Jean Check of Prairie, Marilyn Maas (Jim) of Dubuque, IA, Betty Stierman of Tuscon, AZ, Evelyn Boland of Dubuque, IA and Richard Stierman (Jeanne) of Dubuque, IA.. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
