He is survived by: his children, Ellen Walczyk (Tim Pallas) of Douglasville, GA and Brian Hefel of Dubuque; his grandchildren, Justin (Samantha), Olivia, Tyler (Ashley), Brandon and Marissa; his great grandchildren, Armani, Aubree, Tiana, Treshaun, Natalie and Evelyn; and his siblings, Dan Hefel, Bob Hefel (Jeanne) of Sageville, IA, Kate Moser of Guttenberg, IA, Evelyn McGuire (Jim) of Guttenberg, IA and Norma Latteyer (John) of Shellsburg, IA..
