He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Serenus Harter and Tilly Harter; his children, Angie Harter (Michael Boever), Julie Schmit (Rick Schmit) and Jeff Harter; his grandsons, Tyler, Logan, Colton, Tate and Max; his siblings, Joe Harter (Joan), Jane Oberbroeckling (Peter) and Dorothy Ludwig; his siblings-in-law, Clara Harter (Henry), Rick Maus (Ginny), Ron Maus (Hope) and Gary Maus (Christa); his wife Connie Maus; his siblings, Henry Harter and Alice Digman; and his brothers-in-law, Bill Ludwig and Ralph Digman.
